Postgraduate Diploma in Gender & Health – UoC – 2023

Application are invited from interested candidates for the of Postgraduate Diploma in Gender & Health Offered by Faculty of Medicine , University of Colombo.

ENTRY QUALIFICATION

• A basic degree in any field related to health, law or social sciences and worked for at least one year in a healthcare setting or health related setting

OR

• Professional qualification in health, law or social sciences from a recognized professional body acceptable to the Faculty Board of FMUC with three years’ work experience in any sector of a healthcare setting or health related setting

OR

• Any other Diploma from a recognised University/Institution or an equivalent qualification related to health, law or social sciences and recognised by the Faculty Board of FMUC with five years’ work experience in a healthcare setting or health related setting

AND

• Should be currently employed in a healthcare institution or health and gender related work setting

PROGRAMME DETAILS

• Duration – O1 Year

• Credit – 30

• Mode of Delivery – Programme delivery will be mainly online. There will be 03 workshops, which will be held on-site if the pandemic situation of the country settles. Teaching activities will be done in the weekends (mainly Saturdays: 8 am – 5 pm)

• Course fee – LKR 175,000/= (Can be paid in 03 Instalments)
