Masters Programmes – UCSC – 2024
Application are invited from interested candidates for Masters Programmes (Final Round) 2024, Offered by University of Colombo School of Computing.
ENTRY QUALIFICATION
- Each Master’s program has specific entry qualifications, which can be viewed by accessing the relevant page of each degree program listed above. The candidates who have entry qualifications can apply for the relevant program.
- The admission process of the Master’s programmers consists of a selection test followed by an interview.
- The selection test is a computer-based, on-site test conducted throughout the year on multiple exam dates. Interested candidates can enroll for any upcoming selection test. A selection test can be taken any number of times.
- There are two types of selection tests: the General Computing Aptitude Test (GCAT) and the General Computing Competence Test (GCCT).
- Applicants for the Master of Information Technology (MIT), Master of Information Security (MIS), Master of Business Analytics (MB. Analytics), and Master of Cybersecurity (MC) degree programs should only take the GCAT tests. Register for GCAT here: https://gcat.ucsc.cmb.ac.lk
- Applicants for the Master of Computer Science (MCS) and Master of Science in Computer Science (MSc in CS) degree programs should only take the GCCT tests. Register for GCCT here: https://gcct.ucsc.cmb.ac.lk
- The applicants who pass the relevant selection test (GCAT or GCCT) will be called for an interview. Those who pass the interviews will be asked to pay and register for their preferred Master’s degree programme to start their studies in the next intake.
