Diploma in Professional Business Coaching – UWU – 2023

The Department of Tourism Studies (DTS), Faculty of Management (FOM) of Uva Wellassa University of Sri Lanka (UWU) proposed Diploma in Professional Business Coaching in collaboration with the  Australian Government-funded Skills for Inclusive Growth (S4IG) program and the Federation of Chamber of Commerce and Industries in Sri Lanka (FCCISL) to strengthen the quality of candidates in business coaching enriched with leadership qualities, creativity, analytical and critical thinking, cross-cultural awareness, communication skills, financial management and management skills, and IT mastery as these are fundamentally demanded skills in business operation.

Entry Requirement

GCE A/L with 03 (S) passes or equivalent Qualification.

or

GCE O/L with a Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.

or

Any Qualification is equivalent to SLQF Level 3 or NVQ Level 5 with a Minimum of 3 years of Work experience.

And

Any other qualification accepted by the university senate.

Duration – One Year

Medium – English/Sinhala

Lectures – Weekends (Hybrid mode)

Course Fee – Rs. 60,000 (can be paid in two instalments)

1st instalment – Rs.30,000

2nd instalment – Rs.30,000

Registration Fee – Rs.1,000

Application Closing Date – March 15,2023

05 Scholarships are Available for Women and Persons with Special needs. Student Who successfully completed the course can apply for a Coaching License which will be provided by the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Sri Lanka.
