Diploma In Forensic Medicine and Toxicology – USJP – 2023
The Department of Forensic Medicine, Faculty of Medical Sciences in the University of Sri Jayewardenepura presents its Diploma in Forensic Medicine & Toxicology.
It was decided to conduct this part-time course due to frequent requests made by lawyers, police officers, prison officers, child protection officers, Government Analyst Departments etc. At the Department meeting, we discussed the necessity and feasibility of such a course especially for the criminal justice system stakeholders because there is no such academic programme in Sri Lanka for them. The Department of Forensic Medicine, Faculty of Medical Sciences is the best source in this region for the criminal justice system stakeholders to obtain a diploma qualification.
Admission – Non-graduate employees and students who wish to obtain professional qualifications in Forensic Medicine & Toxicology.
Duration – One Academic Year
Medium – Sinhala (and a fair Knowledge of the English language is expected)
Course Fee – Rs. 70,500
Lecture – Sunday (8.00a.m to 5.00p.m)
