Application are invited from interested candidates for the Bachelor of Science 2024, Offred by the Faculty of Applied Science Uva Wellassa University.
PROGRAMME STUCTURE
- For A/L Biology stream students: Biology, Chemistry, Physics
- For A/L Mathematics stream students: Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics
and Optional Courses
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- At least ‘S’ grades for all approved subjects (Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Combined Mathematics, Botany, Zoology, Pure Mathematics, Applied Mathematics or Higher Mathematics) at G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L)/ Edexcel (UK)/ Cambridge (UK) examination in one sitting AND
- A simple pass for G.C.E Ordinary Level (O/L) English
Lateral entry
- NVQ level 05
- Diploma in National College of Education (Vidyapeeta) Or those who have partially completed BSc Science Degrees.
with relevant subjects can be considered for an exemption of year one or certain course units on approval of board of study on external degrees in science and Senate.

PROGRAMME DETAILS
- Duration – 03 years
- Lectures – Weekends
- Mode – Online (with on-campus classroom activities according to the preference of the lecturer)
- Course fee – 150,000/= per year plus.
- Commencement – March 2024
