The Ocean University of Sri Lanka (OCUSL) is a special-purpose government University established by a parliament act with an aim of developing the human resources required to achieve the economic benefits of Marine, Maritime, Fisheries and allied technology sectors. Ocean University unlike other conventional universities on the island is conducting courses at both Undergraduate and Vocational levels. The two academic pathways have been designed to cater for the requirement of highly specialized human resources both in academic and skilled sectors with an aim of expanding the Ocean Economy.
