Master of Public Management – USJP – 2023/2024
The Degree allows students to enhance their understanding of the theory and practice of Public Management and hopes to boost their performance as a manager / an administrator in their organizations. The programme is offered by the Faculty of Graduate Studies through the Department of Public Administration, Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka.

Entry Qualifications
- A Special Bachelor’s Degree with a Class in Management/ Management Related disciplines, Law from a recognized University or
- A Special Bachelor’s Degree in any of the above subject areas from a recognized University with one-year post-qualifying experience in the relevant field/s or
- A General Bachelor’s Degree with a Class in any of the above subject areas from a recognized University with one-year post-qualifying experience in the relevant field/s or
- A General Bachelor’s Degree in any of the above subject areas from a recognized University with two years post-qualifying experience in the relevant field/s or
- A Special Bachelor’s Degree with a Class in any other subject areas from a recognized University with one-year post-qualifying experience in the relevant field/s or
- A Special Bachelor’s Degree in any other subject areas from a recognized University with two years post-qualifying experience in the relevant field/s or
A General Bachelor’s Degree with a Class in any other subject areas from a recognized University with two years post-qualifying experience in the relevant field/s or - A General Bachelor’s Degree in any other subject areas from a recognized University with three years post-qualifying experience in the relevant field/s or
- A Postgraduate Diploma of a duration of not less than one year or Higher Degree in Management Studies from a recognized University or
Professional qualification/ membership with three (03) years post-qualifying experience approved by the senate (SLIATE, HNDA, HNDM/C, ICASL, CIMA, ACCA, CIE, Attorney at Law); or Professional qualification with five (05) years post-qualifying experience approved by the senate (SLIM,IPM,CIM,ACIB,AIB).
